For my idea I want an explosion of coffee flying out of the Lavazza cup. To replicate this I am going to use Coke and Mentos. I also want a coffee spoon to be part of the explosion so have found some spoons to photograph.

Here are the images that were taken during this shoot.

To stop the spoon having a reflection I set up some white paper to act as a reflector and used Blue-Tac to hold the spoon in the position I wanted.

To pick out the images that were the most successful, I used the R1 R2 R3 method and then colour tagged the best Coke explosion images green and the best spoon images yellow.

These are the images I feel will work best with my campaign idea.

I think the cola images have worked every well, for my composite I may need to use more than one of these to build up an explosive scene. At first shooting the spoon was challenging as I kept getting reflections on the metal, however, once I had set up some paper to avoid this issue the spoon will work well with my idea.

Depending on how well these images work with my background and cup I may need to re-shoot at different angles.
